Transcript of Interview with Senate Minority Leader Franklin M. Drilon

Q: On the DoTr's filing of plunder complaint against former Sec. Roxas, Abaya, et. al. re: MRT

SFMD: After almost one year and a half, I suggest to the Department of Transportation that they stop looking for scapegoat and start looking for solutions. Up to this point, the MRT is still in such a state that it does not serve the purpose for which it was formed. I'm confident that they (Sec. Roxas, Sec. Abaya, et. al.) can respond to the charges. Just one basic issue, the plunder requires or one of the elements of the crime is that you personally profited to the extent of P50 million. I don't even think that there is an allegation that these respondents profited personally...I will repeat, one and a half year na halos, they're still looking for scapegoats; it's about time they look for solutions.

Q: Confident ba kayo na ma-vindicate sila?

SFMD: I am confident. I have confidence in the integrity of these people.
