Koko, Bam meet Ambassador of Malta: Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III (2nd from right) welcomes the Ambassador of Malta to the Philippines, H.E. John Aquilina, during a courtesy call at the Senate on 10 January 2018. Ambassador Aquilina expressed his country’s appreciation on the contributions of the Filipinos in Malta working in various important sectors like health services, construction, textile and ICT, among others. He also highlighted both countries’ shared values on culture, religion and love for family. Senate President Pimentel assured Ambassador Aquilina of the Philippine government’s commitment to further improve bilateral relations with Malta.
