COURTESY CALL: Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III receives in the Senate the Honorable Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, on March 28, 2017. Minister Szijjártó assured the Senate President that Hungary is eager to work hand-in-hand with the Philippines once again, with the opening of their new Embassy here after a twenty-two year absence. The Philippines and Hungary share a common bond and are committed to further improve their relations and strengthen cooperation in the areas of trade, technology transfer particularly in water management, cultural preservation, and people-to-people exchanges.
