GREEN CLIMATE FUND: Senator Loren Legarda and Environment Secretary Gina Lopez hosted a dinner reception for Ambassador Howard Bamsey, Green Climate Fund (GCF) Executive Director, and Mr. Javier Manzanares, GCF Chief Financial Officer, at the National Museum of Anthropology on February 15, 2017. Legarda, Chair of the Senate Committees on Finance and Climate Change, said that the GCF will help the country overcome the threats of climate change and poverty by building sustainable and resilient environment through its financial aid and technical assistance. She urged concerned government agencies to work together in coming up with project proposals to access the GCF.
