CAYETANO ON BANK SECRECY LAW: Senate Majority Floor Leader Alan Peter Cayetano said during the Kapihan sa Senado Thursday, March 17, 2016 that wealthy people are using the bank secrecy law to stash their money. “Unless we waive the Bank Secrecy Law, we’ll be having similar Senate or Congressional hearings,” Cayetano said, referring to the Senate inquiry on the reported laundering of $81 million that suspiciously went through the country’s financial system, including local casinos.
