BENGUET BHW CONVENTION: Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos, Jr. was cheered and warmly welcomed by Benguet Barangay Health Workers as he praised them as the “best example of public servants” in his brief message during the Benguet BHW Convention at the Provincial Capitol grounds hosted by Governor Nestor Fongwan. Senator Marcos shared and updated about his Barangay Benefits Bill, which seeks to provide retirement benefits to qualified barangay officials, including Barangay Health Workers who are mostly volunteers in recognition of their admirable dedication to their duties despite meager support from the government.
