Fermin Torralba
Born in Tagbilaran, Bohol 48 years ago; son of Margarito Torralba and Cirila Sarmiento de Torralba. He was educated in the Philippines and the United States, having obtain LL.B. degree from the University of Michigan, and is a member of the Philippine Bar and the state of Michigan. Upon his return to the Philippines, he entered politics and was elected a representative to the Philippines Legislature from the 1st district of Bohol in 1922, and was re-elect to same office in 1925. In 1933 he was elected Secretary of the Philippine Senate, and is at present a technical assistant in the office of the President of the Philippine. He is married to the former Miss Rosario Pizon, by whom he has several children’s. he is a Nacionalista by political affiliation, and a Roman Catholic by religion.
