Hundreds unite for Sen. Bong Revilla's annual 'Bloodletting Activity'

Hundreds of volunteers from various sectors flocked to the Cuneta Astrodome Wednesday morning to participate in the 12th year of Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla, Jr.'s bloodletting activity, "DUGONG ALAY, PANDUGTONG BUHAY."

This was headed by doctors and nurses from the Asian Hospital and Medical Center, Southeast Asian Medical Center, and St. Luke's Medical Center in cooperation with Pasay City Mayor Emie Calixto- Rubiano, Rotary Club of Constitution Bagong Sandigan-Dist. 3780, Right Harvest & Resources International, Inc., Dugtong Alay Dugtong Buhay, Inc., Sovit-Cee and ZMD9 Healthcare Marketing.

Bong Revilla expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, including Senate employees, Philippine Air Force (PAF),Philippine Marines (PM), National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Southern Police District (SPD) , Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Motorcycle Philippines Federation (MCPF), Rider's Group, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Confederation for Unity Recognition and Advancement of Government (COURAGE), Bacoor Youth, Alpha Phi Omega (APO), Stuntmen and other to all the individuals, groups and organizations.

This annual activity is part of Bong Revilla's 53rd birthday celebration, and aims to accumulate blood donations to help save the lives of indigent patients for free. He donated 450 cc of blood that can save three (3) lives.
