Villanueva's Eid al-Adha message

We are one with our Muslim brothers and sisters as they celebrate Eid al-Adha or the Festival of Sacrifice.

This day also serves as the culmination of Hajj which is a sacred journey to Mecca being undertaken by Muslims around the world.

The observation of Eid al-Adha is a fitting reminder of Abraham's sacrifice and obedience to God. May this event inculcate in us these values that we may always choose to be law-abiding and God-fearing citizens who are willing to sacrifice part of themselves for the betterment of our nation.
