STATEMENT OF SEN. NANCY BINAY ON THE PASSING OF CEBU ARCHBISHOP EMERITUS RICARDO CARDINAL VIDAL

Nakikiramay at nakikidalamhati ako sa buong sambayanang Kristiyano sa pagpanaw ni Cebu Archbishop Emeritus Ricardo Cardinal Vidal.

Cardinal Vidal was a rock and a foundation of our family's spiritual life; and he and my father enjoyed a cordial friendship through the years.

His leadership of the Catholic faithful will be missed.
