Villar SIPAG, DTI partner to offer seminar on starting a business

Villar Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance (Villar SIPAG) partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry to give a free seminar on starting a business at Villar SIPAG Hall in Las Piñas.

The one-day seminar called "How to Start a Business, Entrepreneurial Mindset and Business Opportunities," is designed for those who are new to starting a business. The topics range from preparedness to running a business, legal requirements and other basic functions in operations.

Sen. Cynthia Villar, director of Villar SIPAG, said entrepreneurs should take advantage of free seminars that make starting a business simple and doable.

"Marami sa ating kababayan ang natatakot sumubok na mag-negosyo at iyan ang gusto nating solusyonan sa pamamagitan ng seminar na tulad nito. Gusto nating matuto sila at kumita nang malaki sa pagnenegosyo," Villar said.

At least 200 guests from Las Pinas are expected to participate in this seminar.

Aside from providing the skills and technical education, the seminar will also help develop the networks for individuals to enhance their leadership capabilities. Participants will also be guided on what are the most suitable businesses and will be briefed on the basic legal requirements and operations.
