THE SENATE WILL NOT BECOME A DEATH DEALER

We will not allow death to creep its way to the Senate like what is happening in the House of Representatives. We will not allow the Senate to become a death dealer.

I am confident that the recent Senate reorganization has not reorganized the position of my colleagues who are opposed to the reimposition of the death penalty. I hope that when the time comes, my colleagues can cross party lines to defeat this ineffective, archaic and anti-human rights measure.
