Koko and Bato team up to fight drugs and crime

PNP Chief Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa and Senate President Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III affirmed their commitment to the war on drugs and discussed ways on how the Senate can assist the PNP in its mission. Together with PDEA Director-General Isidro Lapeña, dela Rosa briefed Koko on the status of President Duterte's war on drugs in a courtesy call in the Office of the Senate President.

Koko was very pleased with the 49% reduction in crime rate that dela Rosa reported, as the war on drugs and crime is part of his 11-point legislative agenda. He assured dela Rosa and Lapeña of his continued support from the legislative branch to the two law enforcement agencies.

The conversation of the three stalwart anticrime advocates expanded their discussion to include campaigns against other illegal activities that continue to victimize the Filipino people.
