BONGBONG MARCOS TO FILE THE FIRST TEN COMPLAINTS
ON OAV VOTE DISCREPANCIES

Vice Presidential candidate Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr. today disclosed that his office has already gathered at least ten complaints of Overseas Filipino Workers who have discovered possible irregularities in the Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV).

He said that he will file the complaints with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Commission on Elections (Comelec), and service Smartmatic for proper and official investigation.

"Sa ngayon nakapagbuo na kami ng almost sampu na complaint na dadalhin namin sa DFA, sa Smartmatic, at sa Comelec para pag-aralan nila, imbestigahan nila at tingnan nila kung ano ang nangyari dito," he said in an interview.

Marcos said his camp is alarmed over alleged discrepancies in the votes cast in the ballots and the results indicated in the printed receipts in the OAV, with reports coming in from Hong Kong, Japan, Dubai and California.

Moreover, Marcos noted that based on such reports it seems only he and his cousin and Senatorial candidate Martin Romualdez who were the only ones losing votes in the OAV.

Marcos then urged all voters, as well as poll watchers from the opposing political camps, to actively join in the effort to ensure clean, honest and credible elections on May 9.

"Kaya naman nanawagan po ako sa lahat, hindi lamang sa mga supporters ko, sa lahat ng mga supporters ng lahat ng kandidato, na talagang magbantay tayo ng mabuti para hindi magkaroon ng problema at maging mapayapa, maayos at kapani-paniwala yung magiging resulta ng ating botohan," Marcos proposed.
