Sen. Marcos Asks Students Of SLSU To Join Him In His Crusade For National Unity

Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr. asked the students of the Southern Luzon State (SLSU) University in Lucena City to join him in his crusade for national unity.

Marcos made the call during his visit to the SLSU-Lucena campus today (Tuesday), where he told the students in a dialogue that the national unity that he is espousing should set-in immediately after the May 2016 elections, which is expected to divide the country.

"Samahan ninyo ako sa kilusan para magkaisa tayong mga Pilipino dahil ito lamang ang paraan para magkaroon ng progreso ang Pilipinas," he said.

He said that the problems of the country like the proliferation of illegal drugs, high prices of commodities, joblessness, and others can be resolved because the solutions are available. But these problems still linger because the people are not moving as one and are disunited because of politics.
