Sen. Marcos Thankful For Latest Pulse Asia Survey Results

Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos Jr. expressed elation on the latest Pulse Asia survey showing him surging his way to the Vice Presidency with a 13 percent increase in the rating.

From just 10 percent in the September Pulse Asia survey, Marcos' rating increased to 23 percent in the latest survey conducted between December 4 to 11 with 1,800 respondents nationwide with a margin of error of plus or minus two percentage points.

While still in the second place, Marcos managed to trim down the 19 percent lead of the Vice Presidential front runner to just six points.

"I am deeply grateful for the latest survey results showing a 13 percent increase in my rating for the Vice Presidency. I am honored and humbled by the continued support of our countrymen," Marcos said.

But he expressed caution that surveys, while a good indication of voters' preference at a given period, should just be taken as it is - a survey. He said the real survey will happen in the May 2016 elections when the leaders are chosen by the Filipino people.

Marcos assured, "Whatever the results, the Pulse Asia survey and other survey firms' results will be, these will inspire me to work harder in the coming months to effect the change every Filipino aspires for and deserves. Tayo ang bukas."

In the Pulse Asia survey, Marcos enjoyed the support of Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon with 28 percent and 26 percent, respectively. He was also one of the top choices in Class ABC with 20 percent and Class E with 20 percent.
