Senator Marcos Inaugurates Free WIFI in Burnham Park, Baguio

Sen. Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos was the Guest of Honor during the inauguration at the Rose Garden of Burnham Park, Baguio City last Friday of the FREE Wifi for the residents and visitors of the park, enabling everyone to stay connected while enjoying the park's amenities.

Joining the Senator at the ribbon cutting ceremonies was Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan whose office made possible this service.

The network project which entailed the deployment of eight (8) Wifi hotspots strategically located throughout the park aimed to improve the visitor's overall experience of Baguio.

With its 5-G Wifi capability, the access points allowed park users to connect to the internet at the faster speed.

Up to 2,400 simultaneous park users can enjoy this free service.

This event marked the first phase of free Wifi spots planned around the City of Baguio --- bringing it closer to the city's vision of connectivity towards productivity.
