Senator Nancy Binay's Christmas message

As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we are all given a good reason to look forward with hope.

Marami sa ating mga kababayan ang patuloy pa ring hinaharap ang maraming mga pagsubok at mga bagyo sa buhay--maging ang aming pamilya ay kailangan ding harapin ang iba't ibang sigwa--ngunit ang lahat ng mga ito'y lilipas din.

It is our Christian faith that enables us to brave every pain, scourge and difficulty that come to our lives--and no amount of adversity can dampen our spirits this Christmas.

We always find hope and joy in celebrating Christmas, and I firmly believe in the enormity of the Filipinos' heart, full of warmth and compassion, charity and faith.

There is no doubt that we shall overcome.

Sa sambayanang Filipino, at sa buong mundo--isang maligaya at makabuluhang Kapaskuhan sa ating lahat!
