Q: May mga number of senators who are saying that na dapat huwag na ituloy yung probe sa Iloilo Convention Center (ICC)?

SPFMD: Well that is addressed to the chairman of the Blue Ribbon Committee, Senator TG Guingona. I am certain that Sen. Guingona will take consideration of the views of his colleagues - of the almost unanimous view of his colleagues - on this matter. That is for Sen. Guingona to decide.

Q: Sabi po ni Sen. Miriam bigyan din daw ng chance magsalita si Syjuco.

SPFMD: As I have said that is a matter addressed to the chairman, including the proposal that they should submit first an affidavit before they are allowed to speak before the committee.

Q: Do you think you need more time to explain before the committee on the ICC issue?

SPFMD: That is a matter for Sen. Guingona to decide.

Q: Gaano po kahalaga mag-submit muna ng affidavit before sila humarap sa Blue Ribbon Committee?

SPFMD: I think that was proposed by a number of senators. Para naman hindi abusuhin ang proseso sa Senado.

Q: Confident po ba kayo kahit magsubmit ng affidavit si Syjuco sa Senado?

SPFMD: That is a matter that we have to leave to the discretion of the chairman, Sen. Guingona.
