Statement of Senator Nancy Binay on President Benigno Aquino's rejection of Sec. Florencio Abad's resignation

Let him go.

It would be for the best interest of the country if President Aquino lets go of Sec. Butch Abad.

I hope the President still reconsiders the Secretary's resignation to save the Administration from further embarrassment, unjustified humiliations and legal setbacks.

Despite Pres. Aquino's rejection of his resignation, Sec. Abad should still face the music and explain to the people the controversial Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP).

Abad should still be made accountable on how he managed the people's money.

May be it's about time for Sec. Abad to face the Senate to give him the opportunity to explain, defend and finally shed light on DAP.
