KOKO HOLDS FREE BAR LECTURE SERIES

The 2013 Sen. Koko Pimentel Free Last Minute Bar Lecture Series will be held on Oct. 5, 12, 19, and 26 starting at 8 a.m. to 12 noon at the Conference Hall of the University of the East College of Law Building, C.M. Recto Campus, Recto Avenue, Manila.

Bar hopefuls are advised to register early via email [email protected] to be accommodated because the free lecture series will be on a first-come, first-serve basis only.

The country's leading lawyers are tapped to handle the free lecture series, among them Prof. Rene Gorospe, who landed second in the 1979 bar examinations, to tackle political law and University of Manila College of Law Dean Salvador Poquiz, to handle labor law.

The other topnotch lawyers are Dean Ed Vincent Albano of both the Arellano Law School and San Beda College to talk on civil law and Prof. Rizalina Lumbrea of Angeles University and San Beda College to handle the law on taxation.

Also in the high-powered roster is Prof. Timoteo Aquino, former prefect of student affairs of the San Beda Law College who now teaches at the same institution in addition to his work at the UPHR Philippine Judicial Academy, to lecture on commercial law.

The Sen. Koko Pimentel Free Last Minute Lecture Series is now on its third successful year as a public service project of the one of the country's elite bar topnotchers.
