VILLAR GIVES RELIEF GOODS TO VICTIMS OF TYPHOON "MARING"

SENATOR Cynthia Villar has distributed relief goods, consisting of food packs and blankets, to flood victims as typhoon Maring ravaged Metro Manila and nearby provinces in the island of Luzon. With the small help, Villar hopes to ease the enormous sufferings of our people as typhoon Maring floods swamped the metropolis and other areas of the country.

She also appealed to those who are capable of helping to go out of their way and provide assistance to the calamity-stricken victims.

In these sad times, Villar underscored the need to set aside all differences, and come to the rescue of people who are very much in need of our help.

"We urgently need the collaborative efforts of those in the public and private sector to attend to all the needs of the victims," stressed Villar.

On Tuesday, Villar helped in distributing relief goods to flood victims in General Trias, Bacoor and Noveleta in Cavite; Binan, Laguna; Baseco, Tondo; Navotas; Putatan, Muntilupa; Sucat, Paranaque; and Pateros.

She also directed relief operations in Sasmuan, Apalit and Minalin in Pampanga; and Samal, Pilar, Abucay, Hermosa, Dinalupihan, Orani, Balanga and Abucay in Bataan. Blankets were also given to victims in Candon, and Narvacan, both in Ilocos Sur. Likewise, Cong. Mark Villar has steered relief operations in Las Piñas particularly in Brgy. Zapote, Pamplona 3, Manuyo 2, Daniel Fajardo, Ilaya, Pulanglupa 1, District 1 and Talon 3
