In celebration of Senator Loren Legarda's birthday, the Lingkod Loren, a humanitarian program of Legarda, will conduct an advocacy fair in the city of Malabon, where the Senator grew up, on Thursday, February 3, 2011.

The advocacy fair aims to benefit residents of Barangays San Agustin, Potrero, and Tañong through various activities such as: medical and dental mission with doctors from the National Kidney and Transplant Institute and the Department of Health; dentists from the Filipino-Chinese Dental Foundation, Bobby Co., Sanofi-Aventis, GSK, and Pharex; free breast check-ups by the Bessie B. There will also be booths for free haircuts sponsored by Reyes Haircutters and F Salon; a BBL Livelihood Program booth that is in partnership with TESDA; and the film showing of "Buhos", the documentary on climate change produced by Senator Loren Legarda and directed by Brillante Mendoza.

Other highlights of the program include the graduation of trainers of the BBL Livelihood Program, donation of books from the Libro ni Loren Foundation to the Malabon National High School, and the distribution of fruit-bearing seedlings.

Senator Legarda's advocacy fair will be held at the Malabon Amphitheater. She will be joined by Malabon officials headed by Mayor Canuto Senen Oreta, Vice Mayor Antolin Oreta III, and Congresswoman Josephine Lacson-Noel.
