Pia warns vs. "Cayetano" quick-loan scam

The public is hereby warned not to believe or fall for a quick-loan scheme being linked to Senators Pia and Alan Cayetano and reportedly being offered to poor communities along the Manggahan Floodway in Marikina City.

The senator's office learned this afternoon that a concerned resident had earlier called up the Senate Office of Sergeant at Arms (OSAA) to report that an individual had been going around households in the Floodway area to peddle the loan scheme to residents.

Namedropping the Cayetano siblings, said individual is allegedly enticing residents to secure instant cash loans from the program for a membership fee of only P83.

The Office of Senator Pia S. Cayetano advises the public to immediately report any group or individual offering such loan schemes to the proper police and community authorities.
