KIKO: SOME ADMIN SENATORS ALSO CONTEMPLATING
SUPPORTING NOYNOY

Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan revealed on Friday that some senators allied with the administration are now considering supporting the presidential bid of Senator Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino III.

"A number of admin senators I have spoken with are also now agonizing over whether or not to support the bid of Noynoy. They were allies of the late President Aquino and can sense that our people truly want change and reforms. They are torn between support for Noynoy and their party loyalty."

Pangilinan then challenged potential allies: "If I may suggest, the nation and its interest and the urgent need for real change should be paramount. We urge them to set aside party loyalty and personal consideration for the good of the nation. If they truly believe in the wave of change that is now upon us, they are welcome to join us and help lead the nation towards a new, progressive direction."

"Our basis of unity is genuine change and reforms. We welcome all those who are willing to support us, as long as this doesn't come with any preconditions," he emphasized.
