Transcript of interview with Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile

Q: Sir, would you know kung sino po yung judge na humawak?

SP: Hindi ko alam. Nothing personal. It is impersonal.

Q: Sir, you also said that you intend to write the judicial council...

SP: Yes, I will also write the judicial and bar council to see to it that if his name will come up before the judicial and bar council, they have to ask him about that case.

SP: Titignan natin. Hindi pa tapos ang committee hearing. We will check because in this case we will have to be fair to everybody but we have to protect the consuming public.

SP: Malaking bagay iyon sa ating bansa dahil America is the biggest trading partner ng ating bansa. And with regard to security matters, we are the only the country that I know of in this part of the world na may mutual defense treaty sa America. So malaking bagay na mag-uusap yung president natin at president ng America.
