KIKO PANGILINAN CAUTIONS MILITARY OFFICIALS ON ACCUSATIONS WITHOUT HARD EVIDENCE

Independent Senator Francis 'Kiko' Pangilinan warns Palace officials on issuing intelligence reports and accusing groups as masterminds behind the recent string of bombings in the country without hard evidence.

Pangilinan cautions officials to be prudent in releasing statements to the press lest they be accused themselves of rushing results just to save face.

"True justice will not be served until the real culprits are identified and stopped. Finger-pointing and rounding up the usual suspects doesn't mean that the job is done; and rounding up the usual suspects suggests the lack of political and military will to zero in on the real culprits. The ultimate goal is to protect our people from senseless violence. We must ensure the safety of Filipinos."
