PRESS STATEMENT OF SENATOR M. A. MADRIGAL

The recent Court of Appeals decision regarding the Estate of my late aunt Chito Madrigal brings renewed hope for my fight for justice for her charitable endeavours for the following reasons: First, it recognized existence of fraud in the will itself. Second, the CA upheld the earlier decision of the Regional Trial Court recognizing mixed succession for all heirs and that the supposed will is limited to P26 million only. Third, the CA ruled that there was intrinsic fraud in the probate of the supposed will although there was no extrinsic fraud regarding what appear to be forgeries. This paves the way for victory! Nevertheless, I shall move for reconsideration of the CA's decision.
