KIKO ON CABINET REVAMP: "If this is just another Trip-to-Jerusalem, what meaningful change do we expect out of it?"

Senate Majority Leader and Independent senator Kiko Pangilinan today expressed dismay over the Arroyo cabinet revamp saying, "No matter the change of faces in the cabinet, if politics as usual remains the rule, if traditional and selfish interests continue to prevail, then we can't expect anything meaningful to come out of it."

"It is only through principled leadership, transparency and accountability that we can truly move this nation forward. From what we see now, it's as if we're playing musical chairs or Trip to Jerusalem in revamping the cabinet. We see the same faces but in different positions going around in circles and failing to move forward," Kiko stressed.
