'The PNP is not and should never be the private army of Malacañang, the DILG or the First family'--KIKO

The admission by PNP chief Razon that Jun Lozada was in their custody raises more questons than answers.

The PNP should not interfere in the ZTE NBN hearings. It should not step into the legal tussle between Malacanang and the Senate. It should stay professional and neutral. The PNP is not and never should be made a private army of whoever occupies Malacañang. It should never be involved in any cover up, in any harassment or intimidation of witnesses or in an attempt at a whitewash.

There is a valid warrant of arrest issued against the person of jun lozada. It is a lawful order coming from the Senate. The PNP is charged to enforce the laws of the land and it will be violating the law if it refuses to turn over Lozada to the Senate. We challenge PNP chief Razon to keep the PNP out of politics by staying neutral and acting in accordance with the law and not at the behest or because of pressure from Malacañang.
