VILLAR SPENDS VALENTINES DAY
GIVING FLOWERS AND CHOCOLATES

As has been a tradition for decades now, Senate President Manny Villar spent Valentines Day going around personally to give flowers and chocolates to his female employees and staff.

Its my own special way of not only making my employees feel special on the day of hearts, but also to thank them for their dedication and support. This is nothing new, we all look forward to this every 14th of February every year, says Villar.

Indeed, Villars employees and staff look forward to their boss offering of red roses and chocolates.

Of course, later in the day, I will treat the special ladies in my lifemy wife and daughter to a special dinner. We will have a family dinner with my sons also, adds Villar.

Villar, while looking forward to hitting the campaign trails, says it is good to have a breather once in a while, just like today. According to him, No matter how busy the candidates are, we also have families and friends that we need to spend time with.

About the special session next week, Villar says, We have no choice, we have to do it although as far as the Senate is concerned we have finished our pending work. The Lower House still has to finish and approve a number of bills on third reading. If there is no quorum, then it will just be an open-close session.

The Senate, under Villars leadership, passed 109 bills on third reading.
