Favoritism on IRM releases?: Sen. Joel Villanueva, during Tuesday’s Committee of the Whole hybrid inquiry into the alleged irregularities in Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), August 11, 2020, quizzes officials of the agency as to why all of the free-standing dialysis clinics in its list received 100 percent of their interim reimbursement mechanism (IRM) limit, while the situation is different for a number of hospitals, including government hospitals, wherein only 60 to 70 percent of their IRM limit were released by the agency.
