A shot on the bow of liars: The Committee on Justice and Human Rights chaired by Senator Richard J. Gordon on Wednesday approved proposed measures seeking to impose higher penalties for perjury. Gordon said imposing higher penalties for the said felony would prevent obstruction of the law and prevent disrespect for the country's justice system.
