Villar at the 121st Independence Day rites in Cavite: As the country celebrates the 121st anniversary of the proclamation of Philippine Independence, Sen. Cynthia Villar leads the wreath-laying ceremony at the tomb of General Emilio Aguinaldo. It is one of the highlights of the celebration in Kawit, Cavite. The senator, together with Cavite Gov. Boying Remulla, Kawit Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo and Navy Rear Admiral Giovanni Bacordo, also leads the flag-raising ceremony at the balcony of the Aguinaldo Shrine.
