Senate commends UP Singing Ambassadors: Senate President Vicente Sotto III hands over a copy of Senate Resolution No. (SRN) 824 to conductor and musical director Edgardo Manguiat, who headed the delegation of the University of the Philippines Singing Ambassadors during their visit to the Senate on Monday, October 8, 2018. The Senate adopted SRN 824, as introduced by Senator Nancy Binay, which commended the UP Singing Ambassadors for winning major prizes in the 64th International Habaneras and Polyphony Competition at Torrevieja, Spain and in the Sing Berlin International Choir Festival and Competition at Berlin, Germany.
