Sen. Cynthia Villar joins the grand opening of CVD Farmers Trading Hub (CVDFTH) in Cubao: While recognizing that it will provide small farmers a regular market for their produce, Sen. Cynthia A. Villar leads the ribbon-cutting ceremony during the grand opening of the CVD Farmers Trading Hub in Cubao. Villar, chair of the Senate Agriculture and Food committee, says this will address one of the barriers being face by small farmers-- the access to markets. She stresses that it’s not enough that there are many harvests for the farmers, but they should have the market to sell their produce.
