SP Sotto welcomes senior citizen’s advocate: Senate President Vicente C. Sotto III receives a copy of the proposed amendments to Republic Act 10868, or the Centenarians Act of 2016, from Atty. Romeo Macalintal, an advocate of the bill, Monday, August 06, 2018. Under the proposed amendments, senior citizens who reach 80 years old should be given P30,000; at age 90, another P30,000, and at 100 years old, the balance of P40,000 shall be given.
