Quezon City: Forming a tight circle around her, policemen escorted Opposition Senator Leila M. de Lima as she attended today the resumption of the hearing on "Disobedience to Summons" charge filed against her by House leaders at the Quezon City Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 34.

Despite being detained for 525 days on politically-motivated charges, Sen. De Lima refused to be silenced and intimidated by the continuous attacks on her person and credibility.
