Villar at MMK: Sen. Cynthia A. Villar joins the clean-up drive and mangrove planting along the coastal area of Manila Bay at the Island Cove initiated by the Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR). The senator, chair of the Senate environment committee, was also the Guest Speaker in the said event with the theme: “Manila Bay, gawing MMK (Malinis at Masaganang Karagatan). The senator has warned against the destruction of Manila Bay’s ecosystem that greatly affect the bay’s capacity to support ecological, economic and social activities.
