Senator Zubiri on BBL: Speaking at the Kapihan sa Senado, Thursday, June 07, 2018, Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri tells reporters that the Senate amended 150 provisions of the House of Representatives’ version of the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law. “I have to do what is right. I don’t want any more of our men and women in the Armed Forces or the PNP to lose their lives or the civilians in their areas to have their house burned or areas burned up. Tama na, we have to look at the long term solutions for this peaceful outcome. I believe the Senate version is the version that will be able to carry this forward,” Zubiri said.
