The senator says establishing competency standards of agricultural workers in Southeast Asia seems to be the next step in our bid to develop not only the competence but also the competitiveness of agricultural workers. The senator, chair of the Senate agriculture and food committee, was the speaker during the Regional workshop for agri workers in SouthEast Asia (SEARCA) in its headquarter in Los Banos, Laguna.
