Sen. Cynthia Villar joins clean-up activity: Sen. Cynthia Villar leads the clean-up activity sponsored by the Manila Bay Sunset Partnership Program Inc. (MBSPPI) to help protect Manila Bay. Villar, chair of the Senate environment committee, joined the cleaning of the coastal area along the stretch of Manila Bay at the Las Pinas-Paranaque Wetland Park. The activity was conducted on the occasion of the celebration of January as Zero Waste Month. The senator has been advocating the preservation and rehabilitation of LPPCHEA, which was included in the Ramsar List of Wetland of International Importance.
