MIDNIGHT MASS FOR TRUTH, JUSTICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY: Hours before President Rodrigo Duterte delivers his 2nd State of the Nation Address (SONA), The Gathering for Civil Liberties (GCL), Kilusan para sa Makabansang Ekonomiya (KME) and Akbayan Party held a midnight mass for truth, justice and accountability on Monday at the San Antonio de Padua Parish, Constitutional Hills, Batasan, Quezon City.

The midnight mass dubbed as "Misa para sa Katarungan at Laban sa Kadiliman" was officiated by Bishop Emeritus Deogracias Iniguez.

Some of those who attended were Akbayan Senator Risa Hontiveros, Bishop Antonio Tobias of the Archdiocese of Novaliches, KME leader Jimmy Regalario (not in the picture) and student leaders from #YouthResist and Millennials Against Dictators (MAD).

The advocates capped the midnight mass with a candle-lighting activity to remember the victims of extrajudicial killings and protest the extension of Martial Law in Mindanao.
