SENATE PRESENTS RESOLUTION TO LATE SEN. KALAW’S FAMILY: Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III (4th from left) presents to the family of former Senator Eva Kalaw a copy of a resolution expressing the Senate’s sympathy on the death of the former senator during a necrological service held at the Senate Thursday, June 1, 2017. Kalaw, the fifth woman to be elected in the Senate in 1965 and the first lady senator to win a re-election in 1971, passed away last May 25 at the age of 96.
