HELPING DISTRESSED OFWs: Senator Cynthia A. Villar, a known advocate of the rights and welfare of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), gives start up kit for a sari-sari store and a financial assistance under Villar’s program to the returning OFWs who were maltreated or victimized by illegal recruitment. Some of these OFWs have also sought the assistance of Blas Ople Policy Center for their repatriation.
