LEGARDA RECEIVES INSTRUMENT OF ACCESSION TO THE PARIS AGREEMENT: Senator Loren Legarda, Chair of the Senate Committee on Climate Change, receives from Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Meynard Guevarra the Instrument of Accession to the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. Legarda thanked President Rodrigo Duterte for ratifying the Agreement and confirmed her commitment to shepherd the Senate’s immediate concurrence. “Our ratification will send a strong signal of our continuing commitment to work with the rest of the world in ensuring the survival of our planet and its people,” said Legarda.
