STREET DANCING WINNERS: Winners in the Street Dancing competition happily posed with Senator Cynthia A. Villar, DPWH Sec. Mark Villar and wife Rep. Emmeline Aglipay-Villar and their daugher and Mayor Imelda Aguilar during the awarding ceremonies held simultaneous with the 11th Parol Festival. Adjudged the Grand Champion, CAA Elementary School, CAA Elementary-Annex and Gatchalian Elementary School received P50,000. First runner-up Talon Elementary School, Moonwalk Elementary School, MES Golden Acres-Annex and MES-Mikesell Annex received P30,000 and second runner-up Almanza Elementary School, Almanza Elementary School-Annex and Pilar Village Elementary School got P20,000. All the participants to the competition are elementary students currently enrolled in Las Piñas City. Villar gave each participating group of P25,000 cash subsidy for the props, equipment and costumes that have parols/lanterns and recycled and indigenous materials as their main component.
