CLIMATE CHANGE: Senator Cynthia A. Villar cites the need to focus on enhanced investments, innovative technologies, research and development to mitigate and minimize the negative effects of climate change on agriculture. She says the concerted efforts and cooperation of both the public and private sector are crucial in bringing about sustainable strategies and measures. The senator gave the Closing Remarks during the 2016 Business Summit on Climate Change initiated by the Climate Change Commission and Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Philippines Business for the Environment.
