ASEAN CRAFTS TO THE WORLD: Senator Cynthia Villar tells the participating ASEAN master craftsmen from Indonesia-Mr. Masulin Lim, Malaysia-Ms. Roselyn Lam, Thailand-Mr. Rush Pleansuk and Vietnam-Mr. Truong Phi Duc and the entire delegation from these countries that their joint efforts and collaboration will further boost the great potential of their crafts in capturing a bigger chunk of the world market. Despite their excellent craftsmanship and creativity, Villar, who was the speaker during the opening ceremony of the ASEAN Masters Craft Designers Festival (“ASEAN Crafts to the World”) at the World Trade Center, Pasay City, cited the need to enhance strategies to improve products’ marketability due to a competitive world.
