SEN. JV EJERCITO SERVES 90-DAY SUSPENSION: Senator Joseph Victor Ejercito said he would voluntarily start serving the 90-day suspension imposed on him by the Sandiganbayan Fifth Division. “I will do so because I respect the Rule of Law. I believe in the fairness and probity of the Sandiganbayan as an institution. I wish to spare the Senate and my colleagues the unnecessary distraction from the important work that we do here,” Ejercito said in a privilege speech Monday, Nov. 7, 2016.
